Hello friends, it’s been a while! In between chasing a toddler, planning my best friend’s bachelorette weekend, and launching my business, moments to sit down and write have been few and far between. Sometimes life moves so fast, you forget to pause and really take in your wins. So that’s what this post is about—celebrating the good stuff and sharing a few life and work updates.
Mom Life

Billie turns 18 months (!!!) on Tuesday. A year and a half in, and while it’s still a series of curveballs, we’re keeping our heads above water. Everyone who meets her raves about her temperament and how sweet she is. We can’t take credit for her personality, but I still feel proud that we’re raising such an awesome kid. She’s a ray of light, even on the toughest days.
And I know they say toddlers only get cuter, but she’s officially reached peak cuteness. One of her latest habits? Grabbing one of my purses, announcing “Bye bye,” and heading for the door. Where she’s going, we have no idea—but clearly, she’s booked and busy.
A Nash Bash

My best friend of nearly two decades is getting married in a couple of months, and I have the honor of being her maid of honor. I’ll save the sentimental stuff for the reception speech, but let’s just say—she gives everyone her best, no matter what’s going on in her own life. She deserved the absolute best in return.
The fact that 9 girls from four states and two continents showed up in Nashville, excited and ready to celebrate, says so much about the kind of person she is—and it set a high bar for me to plan something unforgettable. I’m going to toot my own horn here: this was one of the most fun weekends I’ve ever planned. No stone was left unturned, no detail was overlooked, and everything went off without a hitch.
Thanks to one of our best friends being a bit of a Nashville expert, my Virgo-ness running at full capacity, and a group of girls who were all down to go with the flow and have fun, we had the best time. The bride gave it a 10/10, and my heart is still so full.

Business Successes

In November, I officially launched Lex Virtual Collective. I’m currently supporting six monthly retainer clients, all of whom have been making major strides with my help. But the biggest wins in April and early May came from project-based work.
I recently completed a full rebrand for a skincare line called Balanced Shea, which included a new logo, redesigned product labels, product photography, and a full website overhaul. While I was wrapping up that project, I was also working on promotional graphics and branding for The Bergen County Links.
I had previously created the save-the-date for their annual luncheon, and in the weeks leading up to the event (which took place this past Saturday), I designed a digital ad journal and printed program. The branding from the save-the-date ended up being featured prominently at the luncheon and across all materials I created—which I got to see in person with my mother and sister. It was the first time I saw my work in print, and it was such a proud moment.
Taking It All In
I’m learning that it’s okay to pause, take a breath, and look at how far you’ve come—even when life feels like a whirlwind. From watching Billie become her own little person, to celebrating a best friend’s major milestone, to seeing my work out in the real world, I’m just really proud. And grateful. If you’ve been feeling too busy to reflect, I hope this reminds you to carve out a moment for yourself too.
